How to Add Wavy Lines to Header Element
2 replies · Started by Ben on January 21, 2021
Hey guys,
My page heros have the wavy lines as I've built them using generate blocks:

I've created a blog post header using the elements function but how would I create the same effect? As it is, I've only got a standard header:

Can it be done?
Thanks
Ben
Hi Ben,
Unfortunately that's not possible with the header element.
We will be adding some GeneratePress shortcodes to display the same thing as the current template tags for the header element, then you will be able to use block element with GB and the shape divider option :)
Hi Ben,
You could use GB to do the some with Block element instead of Header element, it's like the visual version of hook element.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/
Choose hook as block type, choose generate_after_header as hook.
The only issue here is that the template tags don't work in Block element, you'll have to manually ad the text.
Let me know :)
