how to add these buttons in Header

I want to add something like different categories on the right side of the header, I can see there is a function of adding category widget to header but it doesnt appear right, what i want is just like some buttons, and when ppl click the buttons, they will be taken to different category archives, please help, thx

the simplest method would be to create a menu and add your category links. Then assign this menu to your Secondary Navigation and in the Customiser > Layout > Secondary Navigation set the Location to Float Right.
