I have problem and I will be grateful for your help.
Can you tell me how to add some short articles with picture on the main page?
Just as it on this home page

The homepage on this site is using columns with regular content.

For the columns, this should help: http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/split-or-boxes/#post-79486

Then you simply add your image and content within each column.
