How to add News website like Byline in GP?

Hi...
How can I add a section to add a BYLINE in the WP dashboard post section...
for example, we can add a custom meta description and title when we activate the Yoast plugin.
I need to have a place to add a short description there...
and the Byline should display on the Post page along with the headline or next to the Featured image.
if that's not possible...
is there any solution to Display Yoast's meta description in the post page?

I'm not sure how to pull the meta description of Yoast, but if you can create a custom field in the post, you should be able to pull its value using post metaoption.
