How to add latest blog posts on front page on site library Peak?

I wanna use the peak theme but instead of those three boxes of "Blog", "About", and "Contact" I would like to add latest blog posts just like those 3 and then more added underneath as 3 also and so on and so forth. How do I go about doing that?
