How to add infinite scroll on single posts?

I have tried all sorts of plugins including https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-load-more/ for this, but it's not working. No infinite scroll plugin works with generatepress theme. Can you please let me know how can I auto load new posts by scrolling on the posts pages?
Hi there,
that plugin does work with GeneratePress - however the free plugin DOES NOT include Single Posts - you have to purchase a paid extension to do that.
Is there a way to do it without the plugin?
That would require custom development which is outside of our scope.
