How to add Avator for Woocommerce Account Page in Generate Press Theme

Currently for the generate press theme there is no avatar image for a logged-in customer for the woocommerce account page.
I found this tutorial online https://nicola.blog/2014/12/26/add-the-customer-avatar-in-my-account-page-in-storefront/
but not sure how to change the code to make it work for the generate press theme. Any help appreciated.
