How to add a current year tag to the footer

Hi,
I'm trying to add a {{current_year}} in my footer Element.
I thought it was as simple as typing {{current_year}} in the dedicated block but all i get is:
How can i fix it pls ?

is the Block Element > Element Type set to: Site Footer ?
Nop, it's set like this:
Type: Hook
Hook Name: footer
Can you try David's suggestion then?

Why the tags are not working for all element types ? (just to know)

Because the year is usually not needed for other element types.
