But this is overwhelming, but how to do it with generatepress.
I'm more interested in the look, icons, and hovering link structure.

The theme itself doesn't have this kind of functionality baked in, so if you want to do it without a plugin, you'd need to custom code it with CSS/HTML/PHP.

Thanks, anyway I skip the idea, as I want a simple site, no fancy gadgets.
sometimes we get off, by seeing so many possibilities...
