How move design from test domain to real domain?

Hi, I finally bought the premium and I saw the site library. Sorry, I come from Genesis and I cant understand the GP system very well, if i install the child+site library and make a design in a test domain, when I finish with it I can move that child template to the real active site?
I want to make a design for my old site in a test enviroment, but i am so used to genesis child templates way lol

Hi there,
The templates in the site library aren't actually child themes.
So you can move the site to the real domain using the same method as if you didn't import a site library template.

Not much really... I use to move the old sites with the child theme, but in GP I see child theme dont save any design in css and functions.php is empty.
Sorry I'm not 100% sure what the confusion is.
A child theme simply grabs the files from the parent theme. The style.css and function.php are empty by default unless you add some content to them.
