How many blog posts show before 'Use infinite scroll' is activated?

Hi there,
Just curious, how many blog posts are displayed on an Archives Page before 'Infinite Scroll' activates the next batch?
For example, when the Archives Page loads, 6 posts are displayed. If the user scrolls down, 6 more posts are fetched.

the number of posts displayed is set in Settings > Reading --> Blog pages show at most
