how do you undo importing a site from library

I imported the 'wordsmith' site from the library thinking that it was a theme within GeneratePress that I could choose as an option with some of the pages. I intended to use it only for my blog page and for other stand-alone articles. The trouble was it completely changed my home page and I need to get rid of it. How do I do that?

Thanks, that helped a lot but how does it deal with the changes in the css? will it bring the site header or the side bar back?
I tried the reset plugin on another, less important, site and it did clear all the design but I am not sure I want to go that far?
Basically, I need the site header and side bar back and a narrower content area. Will I be able install a different site from the library if I get rid of the over-simple one I previously installed?
It should undo everything.
You don't need to start with a site in the site library.
A lot of those options can be done with customizer options:
