How do you hide answer on Q&A page until it's clicked on?

Is there a way, on my Q&A page of my site, to have my questions visible, but my answers hidden until someone clicks on the letter A, or clicks on the first few words of the answer, and then it expands and shows the entire answer?

Not without some custom code I'm afraid.

Alternatively, you can use a shortcode plugin which usually includes this functionality.

Thank you! I am okay with custom code, I just don't know what exact code to use and where to put it. Or, if I shouldn't be adding custom code, I can use the plug-in.

I actually found this plugin, which is way more lightweight than the other: https://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-collapse-o-matic/

It has great reviews also :)
