How do I vertically divide a section ?

Hello Tom,
Firstly, I can't thank you enough for this theme. I love the fact that we can make 'sections'. Is there a way in which I could have more than one vertical division in the same section? if needs to be coded or if any shortcode needs to be inserted kindly help me out.
