[Resolved] How do i remove gap below "nothing found"

How do i remove the gap below “nothing found” here so that its the same gap as the rest http://c73.df3.myftpupload.com/author/crashp180/

Also i would like to get the search bar and button as show on the page as a widget, can put search bar as widget but it doesnt have a button.

The same also happens when i go to latest news and click on the author name which shows up with the authors posts and another gap.
