How Do I Make Logo Sticky?
6 replies · Started by Mary Pearson on February 19, 2018
My Primary Menu is sticky and works exactly as it should. It is beside the logo and I would like to make the logo sticky too so that it looks the same as the regular header.
Can you tell me please how I do that?
Thanks!
Hi there,
I believe this is what you are looking for: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/#navigation-as-header
Our site is using the same method.
Well I'm glad I asked because I would never have figured that out in a million years. Thank you so much Leo. It also fixed the problem with logo not showing up on tablet and phone. I will close that ticket too.
Very much appreciated!!!!!
Sorry, I need to open this one up again.
I followed all the instructions and all is working well with the exception that the menu jumps from side to side when changing from regular menu to sticky menu. It's really a distraction and I can't figure out what needs to be changed to make everything line up so it's seamless.
Would appreciate your help again.
Thanks!
Website is macinternationalstudentservices.com
Solved it. I added
.inside-navigation.grid-container.grid-parent {
margin-left: 0px !important; }
That fixed it.
Glad it's all working!
Thanks Leo. It's starting to come together. ;-)
