Hi, I am trying to figure out how to make our logo bigger? If I increase it’s size, it displaces the primary menu down below. I suppose in an ideal world, it would displace the menu so that the word home came after the logo or I could align the word home to the first letter of the site title.
The site in question is development.npsnj.org

Hello Catbiscuits,
You currently seem to have a Header Element that’s set to merge. I don’t think setting the Header to merge with the design you have right now is needed.
Can you disable it? Then set the colors for the Header in Appearance > Customize > Colors?

Hi Fernando, as always, you figured it out.
I have one more question… on dev.npsnj.org I am trying to fit the menu all on one line but when I make the window smaller, the right side of the menu gets cut off. Is there any way to make it go onto two lines on a small screen? It’d be nicer to only have one menu, not what we have currently at the main active … npsnj.org

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
ok, so whats happening is your menu is wrapping to multiple lines on smaller screens, but you can’t see the extra lines as they are white links over white background and theres some container overlapping.
Issues:
you have a Header Element on your site that is a) merging the site header and b) adding the purple color background.
it is because of this set up that you have the link problem. Is this header element necessary ?
Ideally it would be better to remove it, and just set the background color of the site header and the navigation to purple. This would fix the above issue.Let me know.

Oh geez, yes you are right. I disabled the header element on the main site not the dev site and then played with the menus. User error. It’s all good now.

Hi again. I am having problems with my site at some deep level that have (I think) nothing to do with generatepress, so if it doesn’t load, well I guess let me know. But I am having a problem with the logo. Whether PNG on JPEG, it loads fine in Safari but will not load in Chrome or Firefox on any of my Macs. Do you know what is going on?

StaffCustomer SupportThe issue is theres a retina logo image whose URL is
http://
. And chrome / firefox are blocking it due to there Mixed Content security rules.Go to Customizer > Site Identity.
If you see a Logo in the Retina Logo field – delete that.
If you don’t see a logo in the Retina logo – then add any image, publish the changes, then delete that image and publish the changes.Documentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/
