Namaste,

I am using Scribe and I am unable to find the edit button when I am on the landing page. I want to disable the Email Newsletter section Element from it - you can view it at http://www.GitaKiVaani.com

Also, how can I add screenshots to a support ticket?

Hi there,

to add screenshots, save the the image to a cloud drive or your WP Media Library or use an image service like imgur and provide us the link.

The Scribe sites homepage is set to display the Latest Posts ( Dashboard > Settings > Reading ),
So it cannot be directly edited like a static page.

But it can be indirectly edited using the GP Elements module:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/elements-overview/

Elements are found in Appearance > Elements. Or when viewing a page you will see an Admin Bar > Elements Menu listing those active on the page.

The newsletter section is added using a GP Block Element.
Go to Appearance > Elements, and delete the one titled: Email Newsletter Section

Thank you David,

But wouldn't that delete it permanently?

Is there a way to just remove it or shall I just rename it so that it doesn't show on the landing page?

If you want to keep it for the future then:
Quick Edit the Element from the Appearance > Element view, and change its Status to Draft.

But if I re-activate it, then it will start showing up again

You can delete it :)
Its not going to cause any issues if you do.
And if in the future you want something similar then we can tell you how to add it back
