How do I create this?

Hi Tom, I was visiting Backlinko.com and came across this URL. https://backlinko.com/increase-website-traffic I see a bell icon on the top right of the menu bar. It displays a custom message and is different for different URLs on the blog.
Do you know how do I enable it on my GP powered site? If yes how? If no, would you be please kind enough to tell me what tool is used there to get that feature?

Looks like you would need to use javascript.
You could potentially use the notification Font Awesome icon: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-icons-to-menu-items/
Then use the Click - Menu Item sub-menu dropdown type: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-dropdown/
Then you could use a plugin to add a widget as your dropdown menu item: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-in-menu/
