Hi there, I’m not quite sure what I have done as I was messing around with text colours on my website a few weeks ago, but I just noticed that none of my links are showing up in a different colour and so aren’t noticable to the reader, which obviously isn’t good. I thought I had changed them back to my usual brand green colour, but it’s not working.
I have changed both the ‘link colour’ and the ‘link colour hover’ but nothing has changed. Am I doing something wrong? ThanksApril 5, 2021 at 4:53 pm #1722624David
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
the theme has several link color settings.
First in Customizer > Colors > Body – this is the global link color. Then you have specific links colors that if set, override the body colors for that element for example:
Customizer > Colors > Content.

Hi David,
I’m getting back to you regarding the issue I had a few days ago that I though as fixed.
So, yes, my internal links have had their colour fixed, but this has resulted in my blog title links going the same colour in my blog roll. I would prefer these black, but the ones in my posts that link out to be the green.
How do I do this please?
My website is zestforever.com if you want to see what I mean.

StaffCustomer SupportTo set the Blog/Archive title colors – change the Customizer > Colors > Content > Archive Content Title and Archive Content Title Hover colors.

Hi David,
Just to let you know that your advice about link colors solved my problem, too. Couldn’t figure out why the link colors weren’t changing even though I’d changed them in Customizer -> Body but hadn’t realized I needed to change them in Customizer > Colors > Content as well. So thank you from me too! 🙂
Trust you are staying well and happy,
Linda

Hi,
I change my link colour to c60000 on http://www.emailcopywriter.co.uk but when the page goes ‘live’ they are still black.
This didn’t use to happen but for whatever reason, it’s not happening now.
Please help

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
looking at portfolio page i can see a weblink that is being displayed incorrectly – its because the Text block in the editor has been given a color. If you can remove that color you should see the link color change.

Sorry David, one last question. I want to set the link text on my buttons to be white, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve set the content link colors which are working well, but I want to change the text and link colors on the buttons independently. In the customise editor my button text is white for both however it reverts to my content link color when I use the buttons. I hope that makes sense.
Here is my page: https://www.readitorloseit.com/ The colored buttons I would like to keep the text white in both static and hover but I can’t seem to get it to work.

Hi Jenny,
The text of the buttons from the link you provided is white from my end.
Can you take a screenshot of what it looks like from your end? It might just be a caching issue.
