How do I change elements on only one page?
8 replies · Started by Bretton on February 23, 2017
Premium member currently looking to do two things to a few landing pages.
1. I want to remove the primary menu from certain landing pages to prevent any other action besides filling out the form on the page.
2. I want to keep the logo, but disable the way it links to the homepage. This is not as necessary as #1 above, but would be handy.
Thanks,
Bretton Jones
Hi Bretton,
1. You can use Disable Element meta box: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
2. I think this is a bit more complicated. Will ask Tom to have a look :)
Thanks Leo,
I am not seeing Disable Elements in the Customize menu. Copyright is there, but a lot of them aren't. I have them all activated. Any ideas?

That's a meta box. It would be in the Edit Page screen.
Watch the video I linked above, it shows you where it's located.
Let me know.
Where is your setting Navigation Location in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation?
Trying something to disable link in logo.
Below Header
Ok try this:
- Add your logo image in Dashboard > Appearance > GP Hooks > After Header Content
<img src="http://LOGO-IMAGE-LINK-HERE" />
- Remove logo in Customize > Site Identity
Let me know.
Sweet. THanks Leo.
Closing out.
You're welcome :)
