The support topics I’ve found here are super old and don’t seem to line up with the current GP Premium interface. Can someone give me the instructions to add the Google Analtyics 4 tracking code to my site or point me to a current article for the latest version of GP premium? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    see this article:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/implement-google-tag-manager/#using-hooks-element

The principles are the same for GA4.
You just need step one ie.

    Create a new Hook.
Add your GTAG Code to the text area
Set the Hook to wp_head – this will insert the code into the <head> of your site
Set the Display Rules to Entire Site.

I have been trying to use this info to add the Google Analytics code to my site with a Hook Element. It doesn’t seem to be tracking. The site address is https://glendaembree.com As far as I can tell, the hook is set up exactly as explained.

    Hi Glenda,

i currently see around 6 instances of Google Analytics scripts inserted into the head of your site.
Have you any plugins or functions that are adding them? As you will need to remove any existing ones first.
