How change background picture on Pixel homepage?

Hello there,
I use the Pixel child theme and would like to change this wide picture located on the homepage.
How can I do it and what picture dimensions I should use?

As for the dimension, if you want to keep the page hero full width, then use a picture with a width around 2000px. The height of the picture doesn't matter as much as it's determined by the page hero padding:
