How can I turn my first page into the homepage?

Hi,

I originally wanted to have the slider at my homepage. But I created a new page and build the slider there. How can I make that page (Home-Slider) into the home page? and not the first page of the site that also appears in the menu?

I dont understand where the text etc is coming from on the homepage and how can I delete it?

You can set in Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Front page display > A static page
