i have a child-theme an set

#sidebar-header {
padding-top: 10px; !important
}

also i can set contained?

What element are you trying to target? :)

Hi Tom, Thanks for your help. Please look here on my website. in the header section you'll find icons for Facebook, and Google+. these are packed in a DIV with id "sidebar-header". this should be config as a container...
