How can I recreate this look ... and a problem

Hi Tom et all
I am wondering how to set up the regular cubed layout on http://www.momtricks.com/
Am currently struggling with the front page at http://www.sufiorderaustralia.org/ It is currently set to only two full length posts on the front page because if there is any more then the first item is split by the third. Not sure if this is because the only content of the first post is a pdf and if that is the case what I can do about it.

Are you wanting to display your posts in three columns like that?
Using masonry, go to "Customize > Blog > Masonry" and set "Masonry Block Width" and "Masonry Most Recent Width" to "Small".
That should display your posts in three columns.
Then you can go to "Customize > Blog > Blog Content" and set the "Blog Post Content" to "Excerpt", which will shorten the blocks a bit.
That should get you pretty close.

Problems were two:
Blog was set to Excerpt but there was no content in the relevant section :(
Because the content of the first post was only a PDF, I had set the post as an image and adding excerpt content did not help the overwriting of the first by the third post; changing the post type to Standard fixed that and all is now well.
