I would like the logo, primary menu, secondary menu, and a widget area all on a single line within the header (ex: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ndvpkdctobjkle3/menu-header_comments.jpg?dl=0)

How can I do this, it isn’t very obvious to me.

It’s possible, but would likely involve quite a bit of CSS.

What if we just used the primary navigation, and set a few of the menu items to show up on the right?

    That way you could:

    1. Set the navigation logo:
    2. Give the menu items you want to show up on the right this class: menu-item-float-right (https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#custom-classes)

Let me know if this helps or not 🙂

I’m not seeing an option to add a class to a menu item. Do I need to turn that on somewhere?

Also, are you saying that GeneratePress does not have an option to rearrange the header? I’ve seen a number of plugins that let you easily choose options to have the logo above or to the right of the primary menu, etc. Does that have to be coded instead with GP?

    Thanks

…didn’t have the CSS Classes option turned on via Screen Options.

Still interested in the second question though.

There’s no specific header options like that.

However, you can tell the navigation to display above, below, to the right or to the left of the logo: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-location/

In your specific case, I think you should go the navigation as the header route.
