How can I put something like this on my front page / homepage?

Hi, I've been following along with this and have managed to get the grid working on my site.

Quick question - is there a way to round over the four outer corners of the grid? I've been throwing border-radius statements all over the place within the css but just can't get anything to work. (I am a total novice at css).
