How can I make a mobile menu or what's the best practice?

Hello,
I have a question about using the menu on mobile.
Currently, I use the Off canvas panel as a menu on mobile (Customizing > Layout > Off canvas panel).
I configured a half year ago and at that I was happy that I got it working.
I tried to read the documentation but I'm not sure that the canvas panel is the best practice to use as a menu.
Can you tell me what to read or am I on the right track?

Hi there,
There isn't a best practice for this as it's all personal preference.
A lot of our users use the off-canvas panel on mobile only like you do currently.
We use the same for this site as well.
