[Resolved] How can I have a clicked link retain the link color after returning to the page?

Whenever a link is clinked and getting back to the page with the link, the link retains the hover link. Is there a way to retain the color link instead?

I tried many solutions for this but they don’t work reliably. Is there a solution for this? I would like to affect link present in the content for posts and pages but NOT for GP and GB buttons.

I’ve actually noticed this behavior before and don’t think this is something GP (or any themes) can control – more of a WP thing I believe.
