March 7, 2018 at 5:14 am #513797 Janine And how can I change the avatar for users for commenters to a custom icon? March 7, 2018 at 5:30 am #513803 Janine Hi. No need to answer the question about avatars. I Googled it and it seems like I need a plugin. Thanks. March 7, 2018 at 9:28 am #514051 LeoStaff Customer Support Hi there, Try this method: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/removing-comment-title-thoughts-on/#post-327453 March 7, 2018 at 10:05 am #514071 Janine Hi, Leo. I don’t want to remove it. I want to be able to edit the text. Thank you! March 7, 2018 at 3:43 pm #514261 LeoStaff Customer Support That is the way to edit it. Have you tried it but it wasn’t working? March 7, 2018 at 4:13 pm #514281 Janine No. I didn’t try, because I thought that was for deleting. But in any case, I don’t want to install a plugin for something like that. Thanks! March 7, 2018 at 7:59 pm #514338 LeoStaff Customer Support Hmm it should be a very light plugin I think. Your site speed depends on how well each of the plugins are coded, not how many you have. I would assume Tom suggests the best method already 🙂 March 8, 2018 at 2:55 am #514503 Janine Thanks, Leo. You know, there is so much conflicting information. I’ve read that you should choose plugins that are well coded, but how does someone like me even figure that out? And I”‘ve read that you shouldn’t have too many plugins in so many articles. But I trust you guys, so I will use the plugin. Thank you for letting me know this new tip. And if you can tell me how I can tell if a plugin is coded well, I would appreciate that too. Again, thanks! March 8, 2018 at 8:56 am #514840 LeoStaff Customer Support I usually trust the reviews on WordPress repo. You can also do speed test before and after activating a new plugin. March 8, 2018 at 9:05 am #514857 Janine Thanks, Leo. That makes sense. March 8, 2018 at 11:29 am #514997 LeoStaff Customer Support No problem!
