[Support request] How can I adjust my logo in my website

oday I bought generatepress theme. I tried to set up my logo by using site identity>hide side title and hide side title then I uploaded my logo which was 500*500 pixel. after adding logo, it kooks very wide and long. I tried to find out the solution through generatepress theme. I found some person suggestion which was not clear to me
MR. TOM gives suggestion but he did not clarify he just pest some link.

I got some suggestion, that using simple css logo can be adjusted. and I plunging simple css and tried but nothing changed. this is my new site hope fully http://www.subinduadvisor.com you can understood how look ugly due to logo. For this logo my website header looks wide.

I need proper guide line how can I adjust logo on my website?

Hi there,

If you are simply uploading jpg logo then no adjustment should be needed so you don’t need this CSS:

.header-image {
    width: 250px;
    height: 250px;
}

It would be exactly the same as how you uploaded it. Here is the image I see being uploaded:

If that’s not the logo, try reuploading the image in WordPress media.

Dear I have limited knowledge regarding customization. I uploaded once again according to your advice. but it looks same and for logo adjustment my header looks very wide. How can I decrease the header wide.

It looks like it’s already a little distorted? I would resize it so it’s proportional again, then upload it at the size you want it to appear.

Have you tried resizing the image before you uploaded in the customizer?

GP’s header doesn’t change how the logo image is displayed.
