[Resolved] How can I add text on homepage and categories pages?

is it possible to add some text on homepage and categories pages? How can I achieve this since there is no widget to do so?

Please keep in mind that it would be rich text with html features to place bold, italic, links, etc on text.

Hi there,

the Elements module allows you to add content to the theme template. So either the Header Element:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/

This is positioned above the content.

Or the Hook Element which will allow you to place content elsewhere.

Just one question I got about hooks the following list bellow, is there of this that is not been use by dispatch theme demo?

Archives Header, Custom Post Navigation, Secondary Navigation, WPSP Close Wrapper, WPSP Open Wrapper and Magazine Grid

Also, I been looking on google to show categories description on category page using this tutorial => https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-display-category-descriptions-in-wordpress/

Would you recommend this is a correct solution or is there other way you recommend to do it? If so, when theme updates would this setting will be deleted from category.php file?

All of those are used in the default Dispatch demo – otherwise we wouldn’t have included it.

Can you please start opening a separate topic for each of your question?
