Hover effect not working in main nav button

Hello,
I'm creating a button in my main nav and trying to create a dark blue background hover effect. I added the appropriate css but when I hover I only briefly see the blue background and then it immediately goes to white. I can't find the conflict. Could you please help me with this?
Hi there,
Any specific menu item I should be looking at?
Have you tried this method?

Let me know :)
Thanks I'm using that. You should be looking at the request a demo button. it's the one with an orange background. At least it has one on my end.
Hmm this is what I'm seeing:

No request a demo? Am I missing something?
These were recent changes, so I think I had to clear the cache. Could you try now?
Still nothing. Did a hard refresh on my end.
Any chance you can do this first?

I just got it. It was in the theme customizer! My css for the button was different than the main nav color settings in the customizer.
Are you still not seeing the updated page?
Should look like this:

Nope it still looks like the screenshot here unfortunately:

Tried with incognito mode.
flushed more caches. Could you check one more time please?
I can see it now but not seeing any issues?

Great. Correct, I found the settings causing the issues. Thank you for your help and being so prompt!
So the original hover issue is solved as well?
Let me know :)
Yes it is : )
Awesome :)
