Apologies for repetition, I messed up the first time I asked this question.
I am looking for a new hosting service, unhappy with Bluehost. Any recommendations gratefully accepted, because in trying to find out directly for myself, the 'chat' support for these things has proven to be bogus. I have a particular situation which they refuse to address, and I need that taken into account before I make irreversible changes in migrating to a new hoster. Is this an okay place for me to explain what I need, or better, what I fear happening if things don't work the way I was told they would?
I have an old blog with discontinued theme. I have a staging site with the beginnings of a new blog that I'm ready to take live as a 2nd blog under the same domain name. I do not wish the old one to be replaced, erased, or altered by the new one in any way. I want two blogs under the same domain name. Is that possible? Since the original blog's address is the domain name by itself, and I never foresaw wanting a second blog under the same domain name, I'd understand how there might need to be a few alterations to the blog addresses.
Thanks all!!

Hi there,
we provide some Theme recommendations here:
https://generatepress.com/wordpress-hosting/
for a single WordPress install it is one blog per domain, as each install has its own Database and set of users attached to it.
But you can install a WordPress Multisite Network, which allows for multiple installs to be created across subfolders or subdomains on a single domain name. There not the easiest things to set up - and it would be advisable to set up a test one before trying to migrate your existing site to one.
