Hello,
I am having trouble creating a simple, centered horizontal menu underneath the main site title. The link is here that I can add 5 nav items to.
ThanksJanuary 24, 2021 at 6:22 pm #1631993Leo
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
The URL you’ve provided is under maintenance mode.
Can you disable it?

Apologies, here is the link: I would like the secondary menu, that is currently behind the site title, to be underneath the site title and centered. Thank you!

StaffCustomer SupportCan you try removing all of your custom CSS first?
I see some CSS in there that’s not coming from GP.

Yes, I removed all of the css.. there is still some in there from when I asked here about creating a hamburger menu. Do I need to delete that too?

StaffCustomer SupportYup just try removing all the CSS first.
Please make sure to clear and disable your caching plugin – I’m not able to see the source of the CSS currently.

StaffCustomer SupportYup now everything looks more normal.
So you want to move the secondary navigation to below the site title?
If so have you tried the location option?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/secondary-navigation-location/Looks like it’s currently set to above header.

Yea, I’d like the nav to go below where it says “Site Title Here” https://ibb.co/VHq8LJw ..Would that need to be a hook? thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportAhh the Site Title Here is actually the content.
Is there a reason why you are not using the default header for that?
There isn’t a way to insert the navigation to the middle of the content.

ohh no not any reason specifically, I just deleted the “Site Title Here” content and went to customizer and then to site identity and added one and hit publish but nothing showed up https://ibb.co/sWfPLc7

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/mobile-navigation/#using-gp-premiumCan you try setting it back to 768px?
