I have a global Elementor layout applied to all the pages on my site. In one instance, however, I would like to add some code after the template has rendered. I’ve created a hook element and the necessary code but I can’t get it to appear “after” the content. It’s as if Elementor has taken control of all content areas and there is no where to get the hook in. The next available hook is before the footer – which is useless!

How can I get my hook into the content area after the Elementor template?

    Hi there,

Elementor replace the_content output which means none of the Theme Hooks exist.

    Hi, David –

That’s what I thought it must be. I’m guessing there’s no way I can create a custom hook that can get in after_elementor?!

    Thanks

There is this weird hackish method that allows you to add a hook using a shortcode lol:
