[Support request] Homepage shows full text although i selected summary

No, i wanted to use the excerpt..

I understand.

All of the HTML (styles and colors) are showing in the excerpt which means either the more tag is used in the content itself (which overwrites GP’s option) or there is a plugin conflict.

So make sure you aren’t using the more tag in the content, if not then try #1 here:

Hey, yes i tried deactivating all plugins, same issue.
Also, none of my posts have the more tag in it.

I assume you’ve told the blog to show the excerpts in Customize > Layout > Blog?

OK, now there is a small issue ( hopefully small ).. The Read More Button doesnt show up on the homepage ALTHOUGH i activated it in the customizer.

Any idea?
