Homepage problem disabling Beaver Builder

Hi, I want to disable Beaver Builder and replace the homepage hero and a row of 3 tiles beneath. I cannot figure out how to do it within GP theme so I made a hero banner and tiles using Kadence blocks for Gutenberg.
I used the homepage standard editor, trashed the unwanted blocks, and added the Kadence alternatives.
I published, but my recent blog posts no longer appeared on the homepage. I checked the settings and they appeared to be correct. Static page and blog posts.
The right sidebar has gone although the settings have not changed
What Have I done wrong? Why do my blogs not appear?

if your home page is displaying the latest posts, then use a Block Element:

You can set it to Hook: generate_after_header
And set the Display Rules to the Front Page
