Hi Guys
I have gone to settings: reading....and put in below settings
Your homepage displays ; LATEST POSTS
Blog pages show at most: 7 posts
Syndication feeds show the most recent: 7
However, after clearing cache...home page still displays all of my 10 published posts, down to bottom of page.
I must be doing something wrong.
Any ideas?

Can you check the Customiser > Layout > Blog settings to see if you have Use Infinite Scroll checked?

That was it! Unchecked infinite scroll--all is fine!
