Home page loads on every category page

Hello,
As you will see in the following example, the content of the home page loads when you reach the bottom of the category (same thing on every category): https://www.creocommunity.com/fortnite/
I hope you can help! :/
Hi there,
can you check for plugin conflicts, by temporarily disabling all other plugins apart from GP Premium and WP Show Posts.
Hi David,
Thanks, I found which plugin was guilty!
Unfortunately, it seems that the infinite scroll option, which is activated, doesn't load more posts :/
The GP Infinite Scroll works on Archive pages only, there should be no issue with it on that category page if there are more posts to load.
In this archive, there are 24 active posts, so there are a few missing :)
I went into your site, and disabled the Infitinite scroll in the Customizer - NOTE: I did not save those changes. This showed the default Paging Navigation, when i clicked Page 2 it displayed a 404 page ( Not Found ).
This means something is interfering with the pagination or permalinks.
I would again check for other plugin conflicts.
Hi,
Only GP Premium and WP Show Posts are active now, and the issue is the same unfortunately, the pagination shows a 404 error.
Try setting your Permalink settings ( in Dashboard > Settings ) to default, and click the Save Changes this will rebuild your permalinks.
You're right, it works when I set back the category prefix to default (which I've set to "." to remove the prefix). If I choose any kind of prefix it works, but if I remove it with the dot ".", it doesn't work...
So, what should I do to make it work? add a url rewriting rule in the htaccess?
Most manuals methods i see for removing the category base from the URL don't work, or create issues like the one you have had. I would suggest using an SEO plugin that provides that feature.
I see, thanks for your help!
You're welcome
