Home page hero image not displaying

Hi team
Need help, posted here before with the same issue and the 'fix' of changing permalinks didn't work.
The home page of my site http://www.justmtb.co.nz does not display. The image is there and correct in media and all looks good but can't figure out why I just get served up a colour instead of the image.
please help...

something odd with that image file - see here:

The browser can't recongise the resource as a jpeg so just discards it.
Delete that image from the block background and from your media library.
Then rename the original image file and upload and use the renamed file.
Hi David, No good. I have tried that, And again today with a bunch of different images and formats and also with no image selected. Doesn't work.

When I logged in and in the page editor, I don't see the preview of this image:

I searched the image name from the URL in your media library, but unable to find it.
Can you tell me which image you are trying to use so I can give it a try?

the image is not displaying . that is the whole point of the ticket
I have tried various options the image is

and as far as I can tell the part of the page is controlled by the element 'Empty Merged Headers' and then Page Hero tab,
scroll down and the image is there
So I re-selected the background image, and it seems just worked, the screenshot was taken in an incognito window without logged in:
