    Hi there,

I have a home icon that I would like to use instead of the word ‘Home’ on the Navigation Menu.

I had a crack at doing this using Custom CSS but couldnt get it to display.

Could you by any chance guide me as to if this can be done and if so, how?!

Love the theme by the way!!

    Hi Adam,

Maybe try using the Font Awesome icon in the Navigation label?

    <i class="fa fa-home"></i>

    Excellent!

I used ‘inspect element’ and entered that bit of code instead of the word ‘Home’ and it displayed exactly as I wanted it to. Unfortunately I do not know where to put that code within WordPress to make it work live on the site.

I can normally manage to figure stuff out but not sure with this one!

    Thanks again for any assistance.

Go to “Appearance > Menus” and open the item you want to add the icon to.

Now replace the “Navigation label” with the icon HTML.

    Hope this helps ๐Ÿ™‚
