I'm using the Wordsmith theme. I replaced the small photo on the right side above the "About Us" link. On the live page there's text under the photo that says "Home 2." It disappears if I write a caption, but remains if no caption is added.

Something similar happened on the About page. When I replaced About page image, text appeared underneath that read "About 2."

I was able to remove the "About 2" text on the About page, but I don't remember how I did it (it was a few days ago).

The text does not appear on the editing page, just the live page. I've looked in the code but don't see anything.

Any suggestions? Thanks

It says "home 2" under the small photo on the right.

Hi, Fernando. Thanks

To clarify, at the moment, there's no caption added to the image?

Can you try replacing the WordPress Image Block with a GenerateBlocks Image Block to test?

No caption at the moment. It disappears if a caption is added, but when caption is blank, this text appears.

I have tried to replace the block several times, but it still appears, just with a different number. For example, it says "Home 4" instead of "Home 2." Tried that several times before coming here.

It worked, thanks. I was duplicating the block before, but deleting it and replacing it with a Generate Press image block fixed it.

Thank you very much.

Just curious, if it's a Generate Press theme, why is it a WordPress Image Block?

I see. Glad that worked. Did you also try recreating it with a WordPress Image Block as well to check if it's a caching issue? (Don't duplicate - try creating a new one from scratch)

It's using a WordPress Image Block because the Image Block from GenerateBlocks didn't exist yet when Wordsmith Template was created.

No, I only tried the Generate Press image and it worked fine.

Thanks again.

Thanks

You're welcome Michael!
