[Resolved] How to stop Blog Search String from indexing

Google has indexed my blog search page as you can see here https://ibb.co/k8QKHZL

Why is the theme’s search page getting indexed?

How can I do to make it NOINDEX?

Please help.

Hi there,

are you using the Rank Math SEO plugin as i can see a reference to its schema on the site.
If so they have an option to noindex search results:

https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/how-to-no-index-search-pages/

Hello there David.

Yes, I use Rank Math and I have NOINDEX SEARCH RESULTS enabled already.

It is still indexable in Search Console though…

The Theme itself doesn’t add any noindex or robots texts – we leave it all to SEO plugins.
Might be worth asking Rank Math support as to why that function is not working – if its something we need to assist with then we’re happy help.
