I’d like to create something like this: https://businessbloomer.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/woocommerce-add-new-tab-my-account-page.png

I’m trying to integrate a recent plugin that I bought into the woocommerce account page via the tabs, this is the plugin: https://affiliatewp.com
    https://eric.blog/2016/12/22/adding-affiliate-wp-dashboard-to-woocommerce-my-account-page/

Should I wait for generate press to create an add-on, or should I hire generate press to create it if its a fair price? Or should I try doing it myself, maybe install a wordpress php plugin, etc

Or should I hire this guy? https://businessbloomer.com/web-design-quote/#getquote
He’s the guy that wrote this article: https://businessbloomer.com/woocommerce-add-new-tab-account-page/

Or be best to hire someone to create a custom template?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is my clothing website so far: wildlatina.co
Once its done maybe it could be showcased.

    Hi there,

Sorry what features are you looking for exactly?

I’m not 100% sure from those links above but it looks like plugin territory.

The WooCommerce add-on for GP premium has already been released.

Make sure you have the latest version and the WooCommerce add-on is activated:

basically id like to add custom tabs to the woocommerce account page, just like in the first pic, the guy added the custom tab, but id like to do it with the affiliate wp links. The affiliate wp plugin has its own menu and its own affilate page, but i’d like to keep it simple and have the affilate content which are also in tabs on the account page.

So basically when a customer buys a product they are taken to their account page to see their order, in addition there are tabs where the customer is also an affiliate and can share a link to earn, tab to see stats, etc. all on the same page.

Currently, woocommerce account page doesn’t have an easy way to add custom tabs to the account page. That’s why im asking how it would be best to make this work.

This likely won’t make it into the WC add-on, so you would either need to use the custom programming approach (https://eric.blog/2016/12/22/adding-affiliate-wp-dashboard-to-woocommerce-my-account-page/) or hire a developer to do it for you.

How much would you think is a fair price to get this done? Would it be a plugin? Wouldn’t it be better to support generate press ongoing development and have this feature requested or best to hire a developer?

Something like this a very custom solution. Most users wouldn’t need it, and the ones that do will need it for different uses. That’s why I don’t really see it as an option for the theme, but something that should be added by the user if the occasion arises.

As for fair price, it’s impossible to tell. Perhaps ask on codeable.io?

Just a quick question, how can I have a developer securely look at my website without having them hack it? I once gave wordpress logins and next thing you know website hacked and down, and malware on the server. How can I prevent something like this from happening when I hire a dev?

You can’t really – you need to hire someone who you trust/has a good reputation.
