Hiding the title and sub title

I have clicked in the customiser, to hide the title and subtitle - and it showed them as gone (just showing the C logo), however when I browse incognito, the title and subtitle are showing.
So I went back to normal browsing, and logged out, and sure enough it is still showing them.
So the option only works when I am logged in.
Any idea what is causing this?
Are you using any caching plugin?
Yes - but when I deactivated the plugin, still had the same problem
Actually i hadnt deactivated - i just turned it off, now i deactivated and it seems to be solved - thx
