Hi guys, I searched the forum but didn’t find this question asked anywhere and decided to reach out.

Currently, our site displays pages in a way that includes the parent page in the URL (i.e. the page Thailand displays as website.com/asia/thailand). Is there a way to remove the parent page from the URL without using a plugin?

    Hi there,

if ‘asia’ is the post category then this requires rewriting the permalink structure.
Generally this kind of thing can be handled by your SEO Plugin.

If you’re not using SEO plugin then try this:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-category-url/

There is no benefit in trying to do this with code instead of the plugin.

Got it, I’ll check out with our SEO plugin, thank you.
