hiding container based on ACF field

Technical ACF/Generate Blocks question:
Is it possible to show a whole container based on if an ACF field is being used? I have ACF fields within a container which only show if a previous ACF field is filled in. However when I put a background behind all of them, the background still displays.

There is a way in GB to not show a button or link in a container IF the dynamic content is missing, but I don't need that. No link needed in the container so no need to make that an ACF field....
I hope I am 'splaining this well.....
