Hide cart in menu for a specific user role

By default when you go to Appearance > Elements and create a New > Block, the Element Type will default to the: Hook

Create one of those, and set the Hook to: menu_bar_items

Then in the block editor add a GB Button to display your icon, and give it the link to the checkout.

Set the Display Rules to the Entire Site.
